Andrea Anders as Alexis "Alex" Garrett, Joey's following-door neighbor, landlady, and Buddy. She's an educated, yet a bit ditzy, blonde lawyer who graduated from Northwestern College and Pepperdine College University of Legislation. At first intimidated but in addition intrigued by
